Hyundai is finishing up a major plant in Savannah Georgia. Originally it was supposed to build electric cars. It changed now to Gas and Hybrid as the EV market has dropped off so poorly. We have Koreans flooding the area and driving up rent payments and Americans are moving her driving up the Home sales prices. My home has doubled in value in about 3 years. I am not planning on selling we love our neighborhood it has been very nice from the start 25 years ago. My next move out will be feet first into a hurst.
TBH. I’d just be satisfied being able to buy one of those 10k Toyota Trucks.
I don’t need nor particularly want any of the 50k dollar cyber cars that have computers and tech out the wazoo. That seem to be the primary thing being brought to Market these days.
It's seems they just can't avoid putting 15 lbs or crap in a 5 lb bag...
Many don't even have oil or trans dipsticks anymore...which is retarded.
Replacing my 3/4T truck is over $100k now...yanno a Chevy for "common folks". Toyota doesn't make a 3/4 ton and Nissan's attempt is more like a 5/8T and riddled with problems...
There's something to be said about simplicity...heck...they can't even build a good transmission anymore & good luck finding manual "anything" unless it's on 2 wheels...

Hyundai plant in Alabama was raided by ICE. Build him here if you want to, but use American labor you choads.
And IIRC Audi as well
Picturing one of those air cooled beetles with the faux RR chrome grill front ends and continental fake spare tire deck lid... like this pos
Hyundai will probably do a trim package with RR embroidery on the seats and a few pieces of chrome trim for an extra $15k...
And then dealers will mark it up because it's "rare"...🙄
Meanwhile... countless warranty claims not honoring their 10/100 thing still go unclaimed...Hell of a racket
