Not when I can punch her in the face to get her attention. She wasn't a threat. She was breaking and entering. There is a difference, when you can see everything. I don't believe she could hear anything the guy might have said, since she was on the other side of the partition and there was considerable noise and hubbub going on. You really want to "shoot first," don't you? And not bother with a "warning shot" to get their attention, as that could injure someone.
No need for a warning shot. Don’t break and enter and if they give you verbal warnings you stop. All she had to do was listen and not commit a crime and she would still be alive. You fuck around you will find out.
You would make a great policeman. The gun is your only solution. You don't argue with the fact that a punch in the face would get her attention, if not stop her cold. I already made the point that the partition kept it quiet on the cop's side and noisy on her side. She couldn't hear anything he said. Nothing he said was caught on audio. But for you, death to vandals! Nah, you are out there. You are looking for absolutely any argument to rationalize shooting an unarmed person who is not a personal threat, and you make ridiculous arguments against getting the people's attention with a shot not directed at anyone. Of course, there's "no need" to fire a warning shot if loss of life makes no difference to you. But it sounds more like your principle is "For God's sake, do NOT fire a warning shot. You MUST fire a lethal shot."
I am a long-time defender and proponent of the right to keep and bear arms for personal and property defense, but you are making this very ugly. Like you are just waiting for an excuse to pull a trigger.
I’m not arguing. She put herself in this situation. Don’t commit crimes and comply. She had no reason to be crawling through a broken window let alone be in the capitol
