Is YETI Auditioning to Be the Next Bud Light? Brand Cancels Order Because it has the Word "Conservative" in it | The Gateway Pun...
YETI's recent decision to cancel an order from a conservative women's organization raises critical questions about corporate policy and political bias. This incident echoes broader discussions on brand identity and free expression.
Yeti has been woke for years. They have competition.
Exactly. There are also much better and much cheaper coolers and cups on the market.
Yeti came out against 2A long ago. They’ve been on the forbidden list at my house ever since.
Yup same in my house. My wife bought me a yeti years ago for Christmas. I traded it for an amount of ammo equal to the price she paid for it. Yeti banned. Antiyeti home forever!!
Bet you RTIC would have no issue with the messaging on that cup.
...one could buy a refrigerator for what a yeti cooler cost...
FACTS: I don’t know when the price of coolers went up so high, but if you’re in Hawaii and you try to buy a cooler, the prices are outrageous. The yeti coolers run anywhere from $300-$1000. They supposedly keep your food cold for a week, but who uses it for a week? Nobody. I ended up getting one at Costco, and then I got a recall notice that I need to take it back. I’m headed back to Hawaii next week again for a month, and I have to get a new cooler again. It was still $90 from Costco.
It's always been appalling how ridiculously overpriced Yeti specifically, but all of these new style coolers cost.
I've never had any problems with the $20-50 range Coleman coolers. Use em for a few yrs, then retire one as a butcher/fish cooler and buy a new clean one. I'd completely ruin a fancy cooler within a couple of years with how much fish & game I process.
Why? Why did you spend $350 on a cup?
Pffft.
LOL - today I found out what this really means. Low on Liquor
I hope they meant one of the big coolers.. I hope! I have one of their cups and I wouldn't pay 35.00 for it, much less 350.
I think I will find a nice American Flag decal to stick on it...
A silly thing is the instructions to get a yeti cooler to stay cold for a week is crazy. Precool it with ice, never open it. Use 1/2 ice 1/2 super cold food and drinks. Keep it out of the sun. Keep it covered. Etc etc
Do this with any cooler and it’ll keep stuff cold a super long time.
And they don’t weigh 60 lbs
yeety
Look into RTIC. More than half the price less than Austin shit. https://rticoutdoors.com/
