It’s much faster than the NASA model. Cheaper in the long run also. NASA uses “Analysis paralysis”, takes longer to get anything done and ends up costing way more. Boeing is following in their footstep's. They were given twice the money than SpaceX and still do not have a vehicle that can take astronauts to the space station reliably. 4.6 billion vs 2.3 billion.
I guess they’re taking the SpaceX approach of keep yeeting rockets skyward until one of them works. Expensive way of doing R&D. But it works
