No reason to think the truth about Hitler has been hidden. That is a contrived rationale. What you may not like is the fact that the Soviets captured Berlin and were not forthcoming about anything. The West had plenty of testimony, and documentary evidence he was still calling the shots up to the day before his death. You just don't like the truth. It is inconvenient.
You are building a house of cards. IF Hitler's fate could be proven otherwise, THEN other people might believe otherwise. So, the desired end engenders the desired precondition. We only find truth as we stumble across it, in material form. The fact remains that "you" want Hitler to have attained a personal victory, escaping scot free from his crimes against humanity. All for the sake of a noble good? You are insensitive to the way in which your ulterior motives are warping your sense of right and wrong. You are virtue signaling in advance of anything to signal.
What I don't like is peop!e, such as you, putting words in my mouth. I did not say I believed any of what is claimed in this video. I honestly don't know. What I was trying to convey is that people have good reason to be skeptical about historical narratives because they know they've been lied to by their government about any number of other historical narratives. I concede your logic: proof of one hidden truth will engender skepticism. That is a logical outcome. But you are advancing it as a reason for this delving. The end justifying the means is not far away.
People have reason to be skeptical only if they have a REASON to be skeptical. It is not rational to ASSUME that all accounts are lies. When you start from an assumption and then use it to fill out a mythology, you are wandering off the map.
