To be fair. The Nationwide Bipolar disorder. Is in part because they embraced Western/American Style politics. With a readiness and eagerness that even we failed to match. And we invented some of the ideas.
Religious Cults also wield a disturbing amount of influence there. Even among the non-religious.
One of them. Actually briefly controlled the Presidents Office in South Korea relatively recently. I believe it was something like “The Cult of 8 Goddeses” or something to that effect. But essentially it was 8 South Korean Female Billionaires that controlled the Presidency and decided policy and appointments. That cult was in of itself the offshoot of some vaguely Presbyterian Cult that cropped up in the 70s.
Huge stink about it around 2016. That resulted in the arrest of the current president at the time.
To be fair to us, did they also adopt our constitution with its first 10 amendments?
