Its not SCOTUS job to police, its their job to head the judicial system - and overrule lower courts acting outside their legal authority. We definitely don't want the Judicial Branch overstepping into Executive duties.
Its the DOJ's job to police. That's the executive branch's job. The ball is in Trump's hands now officially. The judicial branch will get to play a part after the offending judge has been arrested for his crimes.
The Judicial Branch could absolutely get a head start on it though, by removing its demonstrably proven corrupt members and referring them to law enforcement.
