As my OP reveals - and current persecutions of Uyghurs, Falun Gong, etc, reflect - they are of an evil nature: they're communists.
To support the people of China, I suggest a position of supporting liberation; of freedom from communism.

You're conflating the word "communist/communism" with "fascism/totalitarianism." China is a fascist/totalitarian state (meaning they run their country like a prison--you have no freedom of speech, no right to due process, no right to privacy, etc), but they abandoned communism a long time ago.

They WERE communists (fascist communist--you have to force people to adopt it). Now they're just fascists.
