From what I read, PDJT could run as VP maybe for VP Vance? and when Vance wins he would resign giving Trump a third term as President. Not sure if this would work but seems plausible and he definitely has my vote too!
I would vote for him again, but at the same time, I feel like maneuvers like this would be pretty scummy, and would set a detrimental precedent, even if it could happen. At that point, people would be voting for Vance for president, even if Trump would be on the ticket. If I'm going to vote for Vance to be president, and he wins, then I expect Vance to be president, short of an actually legitimate reason for him to be removed. Using Vance as a trojan horse to re-elect Trump would be like a slap in the face that would undermine the position altogether, something that would be completely counter to Trump's persona.
Ya, unless, Vance and people voting were aware of what was going on with this process it wouldn’t be a good move and I don’t see Trump pulling something like that either. But people have mentioned it’s not possible due to the 12th amendment (probably for the best) Sounds like it would get too complicated
Legislators passed the 22nd Amendment to prevent future presidents from trying to beat FDR’s record of 12 years in office. That’s why former presidents who served two full terms are disqualified from serving again. (Interestingly, the wording of the 22nd Amendment says that no person can be “elected” more than twice for president, but it doesn’t explicitly prevent a former two-term president from ascending to a third term via the vice presidency.)
I heard this as well, but I don’t think it’s Trump’s style to make maneuvers like that. Remember when Bannon floated the whole “Trump as Speaker of the House” idea and Trump was basically like, “naah.” I think this is a lot like that. Three terms for DJT are gonna require some public disclosure about what has been going on for the last several years, rather than our speculation and jumping to conclusions.

12th Amendment
Can't be elected VP if ineligible to serve as president

Could they do it again in 4 years after that? Vance returns and runs and wins, then resigns?
No. A person who is ineligible to run for President is ineligible to run for Vice President. 12th Amendment.
