Something we should all pay attention to: For as long as I've known about Flynn, he referred to himself as "LTG" or lieutenant general. In recent posts he and Trump too have been referring to him as General Flynn. There is a distinction, and it appears that Flynn has been (1) realigned with the US military, and (2) has been promoted to General. I don't know the mechanisms under which that happened, but it might be significant.
A promotion from Lt. General to General is subject to the Senate’s advise and consent process. It would be part of the Congressional Record.
It’s likely possible a General could get a temporary promotion through a recess appointment, but eventually would still be subject to Senate confirmation.
Knowing this, it’s unlikely that General Flynn has been promoted. The Senate has not gone into recess, and the Dems would have gone scorched earth if Flynn was being suggested for promotion.
I thought it was common knowledge that China is heavily dependent on the U.S. market. Add in to the mix China is already such a significant presence in nearly every market they literally have no pedal to push.
China behaves like a large corporation that is content operating at near break even. If you take out 15% of its most profitable sales it will be immediately hit with unsustainable losses.
This has been my thought for a long time. Perhaps some of our essentials like medicines will now be purchased from other countries. This of course, until we can gear up to become a manufacturing country once again. My waking moment was when both sides of the aisle passed NAFTA. It was proof positive for me that the DC elites were more interested in money than the American people's well being. My husband and I come from blue collar families. I hope I live long enough to see this great country become a manufacturing giant again.

Hmmmm.... interesting, thanks.

We must do a majority of our own manufacturing.

With the consequences of what they are facing, social unrest, their wildest nightmare could be unleashed ....
