I saw Demolition Man when it came out. I thought it was great, but none of it was surprising to me. On the contrary, I thought it meshed with social trends I was already experiencing in various media (other movies, songs, sci-fi books, MTV, etc.). Demolition Man used what was already there and took it to the inevitable conclusion.

Great movie, too much bad language. I also wondered what the rest of the country was doing during the time period in the movie. Was it just the San-Angeles (San Diego to L.A.) area that went nuts? Because that's actually believable.

Good movie. I used to have the police station keyboard and monitor movie prop ... 3 of them 1 was full size and 2 close-up half ones the bullock typed on but gave them away in 2003.
