That Biblical verse doesn't prove Yhwh was Jesus' father or that Yhwh wasn't evil.
It does prove he is deceitful though, not allowing us to know his true name.
That was His true name. How much more truth do you want? And where would you get it? He was the author of the ten commandments, all of which form the foundation of our laws.
Other Biblical verses establish that God, Yahweh, YHWH, or whatever you want to say, is the father of Jesus. Moses was obviously before Jesus. I'm not much interested in conversing with a fake Christian who thinks God is evil, so I bid you good night.
If I told you my name was Runs With Scissors, and it was always the name (not title) by which I identified myself, and the name by which everyone knew me, where is the deceit?
Hebrew names all have meaning, like the old Indian names, and like names in many other languages, including old English.
If you were, are, and will be all existence, what’s the falsity in having that name?
Where are examples of His being evil?
Why don’t use your real name on this board? I don’t use my real name because I want the aninimity, I don’t want to be doxxed, I don’t want people to look up my personal information or harrass me or my family or risk my employer being contacted for what I say or opinions I express. Seems to me, “If you were, are, and will be all existence” you wouldn’t need to worry about this type of thing. Makes me think he is a lesser God subject to higher Gods.

With their own hands compassionate women have cooked their own children who became their food when my people were destroyed. The Lord has given full vent to his wrath; he has poured out his fierce anger." (Lamentations 4:9-11)
1 Samuel 15: 7-35 Saul does what Yhwh ordered, breaking Three of the Ten Commandments [Thou Shall Not Kill, Thou Shall Not Steal, Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbor’s Wife, His Slaves, His Animals, Or Anything Of Thy Neighbor] in the process. When Saul offers a burnt offering to Yhwh and brings Agag back ALIVE, Yhwh rejects him as King of Israel. Burnt Offerings to Yhwh is not mentioned in the Ten Commandments, Yet Leviticus 6:8-13 gives exact instructions on how to offer burnt offerings to Yhwh.

You missed my point completely. In the case presented, my name IS “Runs with Scissors” - a Hebraic/Native American meaning-granting style name. I then tell you that is my name, which in this metaphor, it is. If that IS my name, I tell you it is my name, people believe it is my name, and it is the name by which I am known, then it is my name, stating that it is my name is not deceitful, but simple truth.
That the answer to Moses is not “My name is Jimmy” does not mean that Moses was not told the name. It is “I Am, that I Am”
He did not give a pseudonym. The entire concept of names in older languages is to be a description of the truest essence - either in truth, or hoped for - of a being’s character.
With that, I’ll pause there before moving on. This point must be cleared up first, as the simplest one I see to come to agreement on.
