Might a more useful bit of info be How deep is a 70 foot tsunami 1 mile ,5 miles and 10 miles from said Coastline ?
Ex:
"The elevation of the Kobatake-ike pond, which is used as a marker for past tsunamis, is 11 meters above present-day sea level" and is 6 miles inland. And "The tsunami generated by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake reached a maximum wave height of almost 40 meters (130 feet) in the Iwate Prefecture."
