They are setting up Michigan for a massive firestorm this year or next. That unnatural ice storm has left the trees across hundreds of square miles snapped in half. There is a crapload of debris.
I never would have thought of that, but you make an excellent point. Our family cabin is in that zone, and the governor has been fighting environmental groups to put in acres and acres of solar panels up there…
I believe the same thing is happening in FL. Fire Depts throughout yh state are prepping their gear and vehicles. We haven't had much rain this year, and this deep into April we should be having near daily rain. Volusia County quit proscribed burns and all of FL is in a red flag status. Counties and cities are now banning outdoor fires of any sort. Once it really heats up down here, we'll have problems with fires like we did in '98.
