Went to a hog killin /BBQ party last year ,guy drove up with the hog in the back of his truck we all unloaded it and i said that hogs eyes look slanted,he said yeah it's chinese,LOL
I thought the same. We have a company in Owensboro Ky called Field Meats. I always assumed they were locally
owned. It only took about three minutes of research to find out they are ultimately owned by Mitsubishi. I would rather buy from the Japs than the Chinks, but it goes to show, you never really know.
I guess Hempler’s is owned by a Canadian company but still run by the Hempler family and they source their meat and ingredients from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Just read a list of their suppliers on their website.
We started raising our own this year, we are picking up a 1/2 hog from the butcher this afternoon, we sold 4 1/2 and got our 1/2 for free and a small profit.
They are easy to raise, and only take 4-5 months to feed out. It's nice to know what they were fed & that they had 0 medications/anti-biotics (only ivermectin 2 times for worms & parasites).
We will be adding some cows this summer, we just need to put up some additional fencing and run water/power.
Thanks for this. I don't think many are aware that our bacon, ribs and holiday hams are Chinese
Not all of ours, and certainly not my family and associates....
It's really not that hard to avoid that chinka owned shit if you try....

Thankfully there is a large regional company called Hempler’s where I live
