My SIL who is a HUGE liberal, moved to California for her job...and her eyes were opened.. That being said, she also worked for the VA and has now been given walking papers by DOGE/Govmnt... I was worried she would go left again, but she isn't. She is not happy with Pres Trump, but with her credentials, she knows she will land a new job... Her job was technically a wasted job.. and they were paying her very good.... She was the clean up crew for managers who were not doing their job... she would see something was behind and have to finish it for the manager who was hired to do it. I think just go live in the state you think is best and it will open your eyes...

This guy is 100% correct. We left after Covid. Place turned into a trash dump and they can't even use their exorbitant taxes to clean it up. It's not a happy weird like he said, it's a dark weird. I think the lack of sun really gets to those people over time. Multnomah county needs to split up. It goes all the way out to troutdale and robs Gresham and troutdale (who are more conservative) of their vote.
I grew up in Portland, the city used to be nice up until I'd say about 2013 or so when I started noticing the homeless camps starting to pop up. It's not just the homelessness, it's how nasty and hateful all the people are. Like you cannot be left alone in that fucking city. You can't just go to work and mind your own fucking business because some ass wipe retard is going to try to fuck with you and stalk you and harass you. It's pretty much everywhere there. The people are rude as hell, they think nothing of making promises and then blowing you off on them, and they are all two-faced and shallow as fuck.
