It's NOT the government spending... but the government WASTE that drives inflation.
If the US Government were using the money to strengthen our electrical grid, improve our schools, re-build bridges and support U.S. industries... we would be doing very well. Instead, the money went to the "Green Energy" scammers, political payoffs, pointless wars and toward ruining the US education system.
Ending the government wasteful spending will show the biggest improvements.
They do both drive inflation (or even more accurately, creation of new debts do, and projects are currently all funded through debt instruments), but needed/valuable investments in infrastructure should theoretically be offset by economic growth / reduction in losses.
