He was the equivalent of a modern leftist today. He was no hero.
One can still be right about some things and wrong about others.
This video resonated with me. My wife is asleep and there is nothing I can do to wake her up. The video did talk about people being "stubborn" and this is the exact word my in-laws use to describe my wife (their daughter). My wife is wonderful in every other way, but damn she is stubborn and I guess this is what causes her to be asleep.
That stubbornness is the key to her waking up -IF you can tap into why is she stubborn. It's very likely that it is a moral issue she does not see straight yet - If you can give her information that aligns with where her areas of agreement and common ground with you are, then expand then to areas you are not as close on, slowly to let her digest them, you can let her convince herself.
For one, she has mommie issues. Her mother is a real piece of work. I don’t know how she handles it. I figure a lot of it is a silent rebellion against her mother. She does her best to keep the peace and have familial relations, but DAMN her mother isn’t happy unless she’s bitching about something.
Your wife isn't "stubborn."
Her commitment to being wrong and not learning, even from those she claims to love, is stronger than others.
