You're mistaken. Kirlian photography doesn’t show your soul or life energy, it shows the tiny electric sparks that happen when something (like your finger) touches a metal plate with high voltage. You’d get the same glow from a coin or a wet leaf. It’s science, not spirit magic. Literally this works with ANYTHING conductive with low enough resistance.

The myth that if you cut part of the leaf and run the same experiment, you'll see the residual glow from where the leaf WAS, that myth came from a misrepresented experiment in the 1970s by Semyon and Valentina Kirlian. when other independent l scientists tried to replicate it, they couldn’t. Turns out, the “phantom leaf” effect was caused mostly by residual moisture but also contamination and/or double exposures on the photographic plate. If you clean the plate properly and control the environment, the ghost effect disappears.
