I joined a Democractic Governors group on Facebook that popped up in my feed... although no Governors were ever posting. After defending Maga on a few other people's posts, I noticed a pattern. They all personally attacked me, called me names etc. Never defended anything with receipts of course.
So I started checking these attacker's profiles. Typically, they would have like 4 posts in the past 8 years. Obviously fake accounts or bots. So I called them out. Finally I told one bot to "fuck off and stop wasting my time"... and boom.
FB locked my account and to get back on they are demanding a camera video of front, right and left of my face. They want me to submit a video of myself for security purposes. I contacted support via IM...3 hours ago and still waiting for them to respond and explain why I am locked out. Nuttin but crickets.
FB is still run by low IQ liberals. Gees...
You should get one of those realistic masks for the head shot. Maybe one of Joe Biden.

I wonder what they would do? And btw... I told them my camera wasn't working on my computer and I had an old flip phone that didn't have a camera... guess what they told me to do? Go shopping and find a new phone. Seriously, that was their answer.
I asked why I was shut down and they refused to answer and only said the system did it and they have no access to explain why.
If they can't explain why, what is the purpose of sending photos?

Just stay off of it.. it's not really worth saving. You'll find out real quick who actually cares about you enough to stay in touch, too. Big time and energy saver to quit.

I am an avid social dancer and we use FB to broadcast event announcements, etc. so I have to use it to stay connected with the dance community. However, I use uBlock Origin to block the main feed panel and the little advertising panel in the upper right corner. Now, checking my FB feels just like checking my email. I just check for messages and announcements and I am done. No pushy feed, no political screeds, no obnoxious ads.
My 3rd time being kicked off. The first time was a quote from the U.S. Constitution. This time, I just got a message saying the account would terminate in 180 days if I don't send them a video of my face. So, guess we'll just have to part ways. What is next, my wife table-dancing? Seriously fucked up.
