I did read the article and I made that point in the title.
During my first pregnancy (in the 80's), I couldn't wear my ring when my hands started getting swollen. I felt like a harlot going out in public, pregnant, appearing single! Ha!
Did your husband have a financial advantage in this the way AOC’s fiancée did?
I don’t like to put to much into “she wasn’t wearing her ring” conversations. My wife took hers off the other day and was afraid to go into public. I was like…uh? Her finger was getting infected from something at work, and kinda had swelling. So she removed her ring, something she hasn’t done since we’ve been married. She was afraid of going into work or the store without it for what people may think. That’s the world we live in. We shouldn’t care who thinks what. God knows she’s married to me. She knows that and so do I. Anyone else’s thoughts don’t matter. A ring is just a ring. It’s the vows or covenant(promise) we made to each other that stands. My ring is grooved into my finger so I’ll have to cut mine off if I ever have to remove it. So of AOC removed hers because of relationships problems , or simply doesn’t want to wear it that day…I feel that’s nothing anyone else should care about.

Or, ooorr…Her fiancé doesn’t want to be involved, as far as publicity, because he likes his privacy. And they have agreed for her to just not wear the ring till after the wedding? Just as good a theory. I mean the ring has been absent for 1.5 yrs. Not exactly breaking news.

I like to stick a little pull-through loop under the ring.
Wrap from the end of the finger --- up ------ when your wrap gets up to the ring, put that end through through the pull-through loop ---- pull the end of the string through, under the ring, to the other side of the ring ----- using the pull-through loop.
This method, starting the wrap from the tip, squeezes the blood/fluid out more smoothly.
So she had to remove an engagement ring to keep him from revealing his income? B.s
