How does a driver cognitive enough to operate a motor vehicle not immediately realize 'oh shit I'm in the wrong place', STOP and then try and find people to ask for assistance/directions? Dozens of jets driving around on what are clearly taxiways and runways not a strong enough indicator?
They should forgive the driver in return for his explanation of how he made it to the secure areas. Penetration testing of security. Some guard at a gate was asleep and had to open it while sleeping to let a civilian car without a flashing light and a comms radio onboard onto the tarmac.

The driver was somehow able to make it through secured areas and even crossed runways, according to CBS News.
The individual reportedly drove for miles on the interior of the airport before being caught.
Police say the individual was a 36-year-old man who "accidentally drove into an unauthorized secured area within O'Hare Airport."
The man was not charged or cited.
