Unfortunately, by the time the public was talking about it, the places likely shut down those activities, so unless Feds, who appear to have been part of it, have evidence from years ago, it seems like it will be difficult to prosecute for anything other than possible tax crimes.
I did not mean to imply that your post was incorrect. I meant that it echoes what happened back in the '80s when two men were caught with a van full of kids in Florida, that investigation by local cops lead to a group called "The Finders". The feds took over when connections to politicians in DC were being made and buried all the evidence. The two guys caught with the kids were the only ones to face charges and they wound up walking for lack of evidence. That's a brief summary but there are more detailed write ups out there in the interwebs should you care to look.
