It's an IQ issue
I don't know if I fully buy the IQ argument, but often times I've wondered how people from elsewhere showed up on their shores in massive ships while they(subsaharans) were still nomadic. It just doesn't make sense as to why there was that level of innovation disparity.
Itβs IQ and climate. In order to survive in cold climates like Northern Europe or parts of Asia you have to be intelligent and adaptable. Food is not as available both with wild game and harder growing climates. So a Nordic dude or a Japanese guy has to build a ship to get to the fish. They have to build a strong shelter to survive the cold and retain heat.
In hot areas you do not have to worry about starving or shelter as much. You arenβt going to freeze to death. You donβt need a sophisticated and well engineered shelter to survive. Tons of wild game in Africa to kill, fruit trees everywhere and plenty of sun to grow plants.
Whites and East Asians have the highest IQ because the strongest and smartest of them survived and bred.
Certainly plausible. Now let's take that a step further. We should not be championing against climate change, as adverse changes to climate have a positive impact on intelligence, and hypothetically will help humankind to evolve faster. I saw a report showing mean IQs by country. Sierra Leone came in dead last with mean IQ of 68. π
Constant wars.
Constant warfare in Europe and Asia spurred technological innovations. Same with S. American natives.
But constant warfare can also work against you as we see with Africa and the Native Americans in North America which causes splintering.
That type of splintering can hinder unification and progress which is why eastern Europe still lags Western Europe and the Balkans will always remain a powder keg.
The same with a lot of countries in southeast Asia are splintered and why China, Russia and Japan will remain powerhouses in the future.
