Congratulations. You have just proven logically that the problems of South Africa are identical to the problems of Washington DC. Nobody "lost their mind" over the conspicuous hate crime of murdering a seemingly Jewish couple. But there was appropriate public revulsion.
Or did you want their murder to be buried in the back page?
Nor does Zambia. People there are not so stupid as to play with lions, leopards, and crocodiles. That's like expecting America to be crawling with bears, cougars, and wolves. So, let's say that mythological animal threats are not relevant to the comparison.
Excepting that few are eaten. Heard of anyone eaten by a bear, these days? Or a cougar? Or an alligator? My Zambian wife, relocated to the Pacific Northwest with its wild mountains and trees was concerned about the potentially dangerous wildlife: squirrels, raccoons, opossums, coyotes... We laugh about it now. You have all the prejudices of someone who knows Africa only from the Tarzan movies.
Never been to Tel Aviv. I suppose it has a Mediterranean climate. Your point?

DC doesn't have lions, leopards, and crocodiles eating people
so let's not say identical
