It seems to me the only plaintiff that could possibly have standing in this situation would be the House of Representatives. And, Speaker Johnson, who is a constitutional attorney, has said on multiple occasions he does not believe what President Trump is doing is a violation of the separation of powers.
Congress granted the executive branch the authority to levy tariffs under the IEEPA. Since the executive branch also has the authority to declare a state of emergency, like with the economy, the president also has the authority to take action under that state of emergency. Speaker Johnson is right. It is the court that is in violation of the separation of powers. I believe Nixon also applied tariffs under IEEPA because of trade deficits.
Let them keep exposing themselves. It will be easier to hang the known ones. Plus, do you really think PDJT will back down to a non legal order? Nope, he'll just continue to do his actions and let the judge sit there and stew over the fact he cannot control the President. haha
