This parasite was mitigated through genetically modified male bloat flies that passed on sterilized dna. It was never handled by spray however planes were used in delivering batches of the sterilized bloat flies.
Screwworm larvae can be killed using a variety of methods, including insecticides, surgical removal, and the sterile insect technique. Organophosphorus insecticides are commonly used to kill larvae in infested wounds, and ivermectin has also been shown to be effective. Additionally, the sterile insect technique, involving releasing sterile flies to disrupt reproduction, has been used for eradication efforts.

He reported that the Bidan Regime stopped funding the fight against screwworm in central and south America. IMO, it was just part of the assault on our food supply, along with the destructionof food plants by fire, etc. I think they planned to cause food crisis and starve people. It's what Commies do.
