I'm not quite sure why in Part 2 the cop continued to engage the crazy person with civil conversation. Had it been me, I would have just cuffed her, put her in the back of the cruiser, turned up the police radio, and ignored her. There was already sufficient evidence to convict, with the security cam video. Maybe it's because I can't deal with stupid, but this cop went WAY above his duty by talking to her.
I'm sure he didn't watch the security cam video before taking her in. I'm impressed he got there while she was still on the scene. And it seems she starts the conversations. Before putting her in, he did strongly suggest that she use her right to remain silent, but that virtue signaling mindworm seems to be fully in control of her still.
I think most of us hope that wherever she's going, it will be the mental detox she needs.
Heh, you may be right. It might even be part of police procedural protocol... keep the perp talking for the tape with no attorney present to say "SHUT UP!"
A friend of mine who has long-time sobriety in AA once said that when he was drinking and picked up by the cops, he had the RIGHT to remain silent, but not the ABILITY to remain silent.

Cops commonly try to get people talking, so they'll say stuff that can be used later, rightly or wrongly.
Not saying that's always a good thing or always bad, just they do it.

Why Not help the case against her, by having her keep running her fat crazy mouth? Just helps Prove the case more that she is a nut bag 🤣😂
