Massive Ukrainian Drone Strike Wipes Out One-Third of Russia’s Bomber Fleet — And Sent a Loud Message to the U.S. - Conservative...
In a daring operation that’s reshaped the battlefield, Ukraine’s drone strike on Russian airbases has obliterated one-third of Russia’s strategic
Most of them seemed to be 1950's TU-95 Bears which are mainly used for long range transports and IFR.
Who knows if they are even operational planes given what we have seen from other soviet era equipment.
The Russian’s have developed missiles so advanced they don’t need these bombers anyway.
Yeah, that is why the Triad works. Land, Sea and Air. I bet most of the Strategic Fleet is at the ready.
Now we know that satellites were used for this attack, as evidenced by the video transmission. The Russians already knew which satellites were accessible at the time. Ukraine has no satellites.
Furthermore, Trump did not know they (DS via CIA, or MI6) according to Flynn (but maybe it's a trap), were going to try and sabotage Istanbul, (again). And this is the issue, IMO.
Also, Russia will retaliate, once they figure out what to hit in retaliation. Prolly it will be an order to take Odessa or something brutalist like that.
One third of the old ones. They look Prop driven. Maybe a russian set up?
Good info. Thanks! Although the B-52s weren't long to follow.
The first ones were old. The more recent production lot was from 1985, and they are being modernized from 2015 onward.
They are as current as (or better than) our current B-52s. And they are prop driven, for about the same speed with better range.
Lets see 117 drones? Color me skeptical it even happened..........................
Are you saying Ukraine exaggerated the damage, again?
They used them periodically as Cruise Missile Platforms. Allowing them to keep them out of range of Ukrainian AA and Fighters. While still delivering payloads and supporting ground operations.
