I always shake my head and used to wonder who exactly was paying $7+ for a box of 4 slices of really large bread...
And then ...HAD to go food shopping on the 1st of the month (aka "mother's day - every month), which I usually avoid like the plague...or maybe"locusts" are a better description - and then, I "seen it"...
Heaping shopping carts full of sugared cereal, msg laden chips, cakes, cookies, "diet" soda (diet... what a joke) - ZERO actual "food" the body could convert into blood... and of course, there they were ...just "settin" in the cart, several boxes of Texas Toast...(Like $28 worth if WE had to actually buy it! Unreal!!!)
It seems you and I have been buying Texas Toast unwittingly, via the welfare system...

I love bantering with u/TaQo, he's hilarious and usually wins. He pulls out more obscure references than Dennis Miller! π
He's also smart and makes some very good serious comments and posts, too!
