As somebody with high functioning autism, I can tell you sometimes things happen and you completely fucking lose control of your behavior. It's almost like blacking out or being so drunk that you're barely conscious and you don't really understand what's going on. Something must have triggered him. When those times happen it's really important to have people around you who understand your condition and who have the compassion and empathy needed to forgive you and understand that you're really not there and you're not in control when you're saying those things. I hope that the people in the White House can understand this and forgive him. I also hope that they can understand that Elon should not be in a public facing position. Where he does his best is when you stick him in a hole somewhere and let him get to work.
