The Food Industry spends enormous sums on making food that’s more effective at manipulating people biologically.
Chemicals that delay the feeling of feeling full so you eat more. Lacing it with addictive substances to cause cravings. Using cheap fillers in place of actual meat. Artificial flavoring etc.
And they spend ungodly sums on hiring psychologists and other Mental Health experts to Engineer Marketing campaigns, advertisements, not to mention research additives/chemical combos.
They have shitloads of money coming in. Even if the Corporations weren’t controlled by utter lunatics. Most of the Corporations would probably would be doing near enough the same thing. Simply because of the enormous fucking piles of money on the table.
Consequences seem pretty distant when you have the wealth to buy Congressmen and can fuck off to a Tax Haven or non-extradition treaty country at the drop of a hat. Like some of the Corporate Leaders and Financial Shareholders can and do.
