I saw a youtube video a month or 2 about China's devastation from the tariffs - and from COVID. The moderator also put blame on the Chinese people that buy multiple houses/apartments but only use one of them. I believe she said the Chinese don't have all of the wealth storage options free countries have so they put their money in houses. I think that also gets them some sort of subsidies as well because with 3 houses a family of 4 becomes 12 people (4 in each house).
What that ends up doing is tricking the system to think there are 100s of millions more people than they really are. There are statistics out there that say China has somewhere between 400 and 600 million real people.
With these things (COVID, tariffs, and real estate gaming) they are slowly destroying China from within. Schools and other infrastructure are being built for the "ghost people". More welfare is given to counteract the people starving from poor locally-grown food, bad agriculture, and no jobs. There are housing shortages because of the people gaming the system - and because of their big real-estate companies not being able to meet their debt payments. Now they aren't getting the USAID and other US scams that ran wild under the demons. They can't just turn their manufacturing from export to local use because their people (for the most part) can't afford the prices (even if discounted) and don't have jobs to give them enough money to even buy it.
I just wonder if the "Xi is being isolated so he can be fired" talk is all fake. As many of us believe Trump could be working with Putin and Xi, I could conceivably see another Trump "production" where Xi comes out and asks for peace and agrees to play nice. Meaning no more currency manipulation, Taiwan becomes recognized by the UN and the rest of the world, we become allies first with Taiwan, and then China itself, Both nations wipe each other's debt (China still owes us from WWII, and with interest it is likely $2T by now) and we strengthen our trading ties. The CCP will disappear, like the USSR broke up - and the world will probably help stabilize the new China.
Think about it. Trump solidified ties with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and some other nations this term. He stopped a war in Africa, one in the Middle East, and one in Asia (Pakistan and India) and it's only June. He got NATO to push for %5 of each country's GDP for NATO dues and Article 5 protection. He exposed the South African President to the world. He appears to be moving at lightning speed across the world to fix the problem areas - while also fixing our issues as well, and it is becoming easier to see for everyone.
China is the big dog. We depend on them for a TON of stuff we need to survive and even defend ourselves. They do the same with us. I think he may just be telling all these world leaders that if MAGA is ever out of power and we get another Obama, Biden, or Bush-like POTUS they could certainly go all George Bush/Axis of Evil and destroy both countries just by severing trade and locking them out. It works for Trump because he isn't threatening to do that to them - he is reminding them of the neocons and/or the communists that will eventually cheat their way back in.
If Trump, Xi, and Putin are working together, it really fits well with the Q drops, like "sometimes you can't tell them - you have to show them" (paraphrasing here), or "you're watching a movie" or likely a bunch of other stuff I'm leaving out. Trump is bringing world peace and solving centuries old problems, and I think China and Russia are next. Look for Russia/Ukraine to have a peace deal soon. Who knows - maybe China will happen first, although I think he may deal with Brazil and their corrupt Supreme Court and communist president that stole the Presidency from Bolsonaro.
