I don't think this is directly accurate. The Magna Carta was drafted because of a recognition that God's Law supersedes Temporal law.
Nonetheless, the USA is the watershed that brings to fruition the ideas of the Magna Carta and the other developments in British law thinking (such as the 1689 Bill of Rights).
So many of the letters that Hakeem Jeffries read show the dependency on government, rather than on the Almighty Creator God for healing. (Yeah, I actually listened while nodding off.)
People get to decide what they believe.
They get to use the brains that God created in them to decide.

I don't know where in the Bible God granted rights. I can name countless places he gave us duties. Rights are just entitlements absent duty. Where are the duties promoted by our government? Bear children. Discipline. Protect. Destroy evil. Reward good. Feed the poor. Help those in need. I don't mean the government needs to fulfill those duties, but that they should be promoting them in the people.

Admittedly, the term used in the Act was: natural freedom. This term was perfectly understood in the then zeitgeist. See: christian freedom by Martin Luther and others writers of that period.
Fast forward to 1776. The D.o.I is not special in that it attributes the rights coming from God and not from Government, but that the proper function of government is to protect these rights. In that sense, government has the potential to act in God's service or not. Since, /gov is not outside of the body politic, it is incumbent upon the constituents of that body political to act not only in accordance with these salient points, but to heed their acts much more when engaging in .gov work. (Hence the oath), knowing that when the People Right THEMSELVES, they will exact a vengeance against the virtue-challenged.
