People suffer personal loss, and yes it is a struggle. I personally lost my mom 3 years ago Easter I held her hand while she died. Two years ago January my dog died I sat with her holding and petting her while she died. Those two losses hit me hard, really hard.
Just look through the prayer requests submitted here, people asking for prayer as they deal with health issues or a loved one is ill.
Yes we are winning, but people still suffer loss, and need support.
As a fren who went through what you have, this is such an apt post. I just lost my cat-he died in my daughter’s arms. I held both my parents hands as each one left this earth. The prayers here have helped me so much. I lost my parents well before I arrived here-2010 and 2016. Had I known then what I know now, I could’ve added 10 years to my Dad’s life. My mom, probably not. We brought her back to life from hospice care. She got well and immediately started drinking again. It took two months before she went into the hospital for the last time. God bless you, fren. I know exactly what you mean. Happy Independence Day!
