Revelation tells us what is to come. If we know that this is our future, then we can understand that no matter how the next 3.5 years goes for us, all will not be well with the world. We will continue to idolize that which is evil. We will continue to pursue what God would have us turn away from.

Israel rebelled against God all through the OT and was punished severely. God chose Israel to represent Him to other nations and they failed miserably and were punished again and again. Now WE as Christians are suppose to represent God to other people-----how do you think we are doing? While I have grown disenfranchised with Rev Graham, I completely agree with that statement. The mercy of God is beyond understanding - the nation that leads the world in commercialization of baby rape, built a mega-enterprise out of mostly-black baby murder, emasculates children, treats homosexuality as a sacrament, dedicates an entire month to celebrate perversion, uses war to advance commercial interests, creates generational poverty to secure votes from Ghetto-imprisoned minorities....I know I have left a lot out, but I agree - we deserve judgement. I am so very thankful for the long suffering mercy of the Lord and pray that it lasts long enough for revival to drive us to our knees (me first).
