Nobody ever knows what anybody else knows or missed, and even if they knew it they could have forgotten.
The other reason I was pointing it out is because we always focus on the taxation thing, but there were 12 grievances they felt it more important to list before that, and we don’t tend to think about or discuss those as widely, or consider what would have caused them to be listed before taxation.

Founders were not only worried about a "king". The parliament were just as bad, if not a greater threat, than King George when proper context of the day is provided.
Sad thing is, our founders werent even upset about the tax. They were upset because they were given no seat at the table to discuss it.
It wasn’t just a tax either. Read carefully. Taxation was brought up after a lot of more serious offenses.

I'll assume the post was for onlookers because ive read the DOI and taxation was the 13th grievance listed. So yeah 1000% know.
