Hello frens, I’ve mentioned my brother before…he has been dealing with a headache almost constantly for over two decades. He’s been to dentists, neurologists, massage therapists, pain specialists, and neurosurgeons over the years. So far, no one has been able to diagnose his problem or help him cure it.
He’s on pain killers daily, which he hates.
I would be happy to share more details about his situation with anyone in the medical field who thinks they can help.
I’ve always dreamed about finding my own Dr House to take on the challenge of a diagnosis. So far, no luck.
He is in his mid 40s with two kids and a wife. He doesn’t want this to be with him forever.
Any assistance would be so very appreciated.
Please message me if you are up for helping. I can get his info and explain more at that time.
Appreciate you all!!
I've just helped SUCCESSFULLY cure someone who's suffered from chronic intense daily headaches for... 45 YEARS.
Turns out it was.... rebound headaches. Look it up.
Taking painkillers(NSAIDS, Tylenol, others) more than 10 days a month is enough to create and maintain this phenomenon.
Solutions: tapering medications off slowly, over a period of 1-2 years or more, ideally while a third "catalyst" medication is given, such as gabapentin or others, to "lessen the symptoms of withdrawal" from the "harder" stuff.
Discipline, notepads, being closely monitored, resilience, all help.
Good luck.
Sounds like by brother in law, had headaches for 10 years the smallest little smell or anything would flair it up . He was able to get rid of it, ended up being magnesium deficiency of all things. Not sure if thats your brothers issue but it was his.
Have he tried a little bit of Celtic salt under the tongue?
Also there are trigger points on the back, shoulders and neck that help me a lot during headaches.
Some people have used Botox, but I don’t want to be injected with anything like that.
Check to make sure it’s not a high blood pressure problem.
Hope he finds a solution. Best of luck, friend.
I'm not a doctor, but I remembered seeing a video with a doctor who specializes in treating migraines. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original video, but it basically said that the majority of his patients were successfully treated by taking some salt water if I remember correctly. Something about the dura mater and dehydration. Maybe next time he has a headache, try sipping a bit of salt water to see if there is any improvement. Can't hurt (just don't take too much).
Here is a study that also points to sodium, but instead of dehydration, it discusses an imbalance of electrolytes (specifically a lack of sufficient sodium) leading to a disruption in communication between neurons.,

Look up the cone beam ct scan used by upper cervical chiropractors. These are not the snap crackle and pop all over your body chiropractors. They only adjust the top 2 vertebrae very gently, after doing that precise scan. Look up testimonials of that. Called the Blair technique
Read about halfway down the page for headaches. Your brother is relapsing into some conflict(s) that he has not yet resolved/released. In short, something he is ** IN RESISTANCE TO**.

The resolution is to forgive, forget, let go, release whatever it is....
Hopefully he has had his blood pressure tested at least once over the course of these diagnostic visits and discussions. If not, I'd say get it tested.. elevated BP can do migraines among other signs of nasty stuff going on under the hood.
Probably no correlation here, i had a friend who had terrible headaches and went to the doctor who prescribed him one medicine that had a side effect of headaches and another that made him a zombie. I told him to get his vision checked and did what no doctor could do. While the docs were looking for a pill to prescribe, i noticed he couldn't read road signs until he was right next to them. His lack of vision was causing the headaches. Doctors aren't always looking in the right direction and can't see everything.
Is it safe to assume that the neurologists took scans of upper vertebrae to make sure there wasn't compaction pressing cartilage into spinal cord, perhaps with arthritis?
Also, with all the 5g radiation around, if he's got a smart meter and works from home, have him check radiation levels. We know someone whose home office was close to an unshielded smart meter, surrounded by computers on wifi plus mobile devices pulling 5g; he had a brain tumor removed that was about golf ball sized.
He should consider speaking with his doc about Vyepti, Aimovig, and Ajovy.
I’m assuming he has had work up cardiac, MR, labs, TMJ etc. Definitely agree with the responses: rebound headaches especially from narcotics, electrolyte, vitamin and electrolyte deficiencies, uncontrolled blood pressure and stress reduction would also look into low dose naltrexone(LDN) as another treatment. Not used much by main stream providers. I have had good results in many chronic pain , chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and mental health patients
Thank you all for the input. I am pretty sure he’s low on magnesium, so that seems the easiest place to start.
I know he major stress in his life that he won’t let out. I am convinced that’s what keeps the headaches in a constant state. Not sure he would believe that, but I’m not giving up.
Any other ideas…bring it on.
