There's always light traffic on Jewish holidays, or when the Mexican national soccer team is playing. Lately it seems like the Mexican team is playing 24/7. California's Los Angeles, San Diego, etc, as well as a lot of the New York New Jersery areas are known for extremely dense traffic.
The thought is less illegals == less traffic.
