But ... Just remember, Alex Acosta, who was AG of Florida at the time of Epstein's first trial (the sweetheart plea deal), said he was told that Epstein was an intelligence issue and that it was "above his pay grade" to interfere with the deal given to Epstein.

Robert Barnes would be a ferocious selection. I also think Ken Paxton would cause a few Reee's and blood squirtng out of swamp creatures eyes.

Maybe this will not end up in the actual firing or resignation of Pam Bondi, but instead a situation similar to that of Mike Walz where she is 'relocated' by Trump to a position elsewhere in the Executive, **likely one that isn't so MISSION CRITICAL as we saw with Mr. Walz.

I DO believe that Bondi is earnest and not a secret RINO. She was strong as part of Trump's attorney team during Russiagate. She has proven her loyalty to him and MAGA.

I ALSO believe that Bondi got out ahead of her skis in the early goings when she was tapped for several interviews by Fox. I think she was incautious and spoke out of turn - making statements and using language that was atypical and frankly a little dangerous for someone in the role of U.S. Attorney General - and it has led to the present situation, which can't be seen as anything less than a debacle.

She was careless with her words, and unfortunately she did not consider the downside risks to what might happen if she OVER PROMISED and UNDER DELIVERED. She gambled with not only her own reputation but that of FBI Director Patel and Deputy Bongino, who have every right to be livid about the negative light they now find themselves put in by their boss.

Moreover, she failed to meet the standard the Trump administration has set. Failure to meet expectations and excuses made after the fact are generally not tolerated with MAGA - if it happens, it usually means a change of scenery for the offending party.

Declassification was a very critical issue; Trump KNOWS it was central in his campaign, despite playing coy recently.

I based this write-up concerning my opinion on Pam Bondi in part from this interview which aired yesterday between Megyn Kelly and Liz Wheeler.

Wheeler was one of the group of influencers who was invited to the White House and received the now-infamous "Epstein binder" during their meeting with AG Bondi.

I strongly reccomend taking time to listen to her story as she offers insight into Bondi's behavior that day which is helpful to explain what has happened.

I think corrective action should come from Trump here, and it is justifiably neccessary in this case based on what we just established about AG Bondi.

While it IS interesting to find Matt Whittaker in that role as NATO Ambassador, perhaps it is too simple to consider a job swap between Bondi and he as a simple and efficient solution. The NATO job may actually be less ceremonial than it first appears.

Perhaps the event doesn't cause Bondi to move out but rather provides necessary impetus to establish some kind of Special Prosecutor type role within DOJ, specifically focused on Conspiracies or some such heading. We do already have the Comission headed by Anna Paulina Luna but this would be a more directly engaged position inside DOJ.

I'll get to my remedy, its a simple one.

In some capacity, PREFERABLY as head of the DOJ but even a Special Prosecutor type position would suffice...

We need GAETZ, HE HAS to come back. Matt is an absolute WARRIOR and maybe the only one BOLD and CUNNING enough to pull this off the way it NEEDS TO BE DONE, according to Trump's vision. If we want to REALLY see the FULL Epstein story - I just, I can't see anyone else for the job.

I know I'm a Stan, but whatever.

It was sad to see him thwarted and I think Trump was disappointed that he didn't want to hang in and fight. Whatever details authored in that salacious witch hunt they produced about him, the impacts will be far less than they were bid up to be during those first weeks.

They definitely WILL drudge it up but y'know what? NO ONE IS LISTENING. Even since just 6 months ago, the MSM has been DRAMATICALLY tuned out and HAPLESS to impact ANYTHING Trump makes a move on. Gaetz would be a HUGE improvement and most likely work very effectively with Ka$h and Bongino in whatever role he was brought into, specialty work looking directly into Epstein or to refocus all of DOJ.

Anyways, that's my take on it.

I don't know what to think about Bondi. She did a great job at Trump's (first?) impeachment, but I've always liked Matt Whittaker and think he's totally wasted at NATO.

Bondi will be gone soon - and so she should be. She is not tough enough, not honest enough and not effective enough.

Trump needs to put a pitbull in as the AG (like Alina Habba) but the RINOs in the Senate won't confirm anyone that is prepared to go after the criminal cabal.

I don't think Trump realizes that this issue can sink him too if he is not careful. He campaigned on draining the swamp and eliminating the two tiered justice system - he had better keep his promise or he'll lose the House and the Senate in 2026.

Makes sense! Put someone in the position to clean house, while taking hits from the opposition! Clean house and bring in a temp replacement, who the opposition has never had a problem with! He executes the arrests. No prior narrative exists from the corrupted opposition, that this replacement, is a bad player! They believe he is ok; known him from before. Temps are dangerous! Pam Bondi is a patriot and understands it had to be done this way!
