Flew here Thursday to go on the At Sea With LT cruise that starts tomorrow. Not a single MAGA hat seen, nothing patriotic on t-shirts but masks galore.
Gas ia 5.21.gallon if you use a debit card.
I miss Alabama already

Not "since the start." It was a very beautiful and agreeable city up through the 50s and 60s, and Democrats were reasonable people. Then the slide began. The 2004 gubernatorial election when Dino Rossi lost on the third recount to Christine Gregoire was the sign that our elections were tainted.
Very true. That's before my lifetime. In the 90s visiting Seattle for things like a mariners game was a good time and it did feel like the Emerald City.
When King County "found" an extra 7,000 ballots to finally give Gregoire the win was my awakening to how WA runs elections is corrupt. It still amazes me how I can explain to my friends and family how chain of custody for mail in ballots is a joke and how easy it is to manipulate and create fraudulent ballots on top of that to control an election is too easy yet they refuse to even consider the corruption.
I have a fraternity brother who is a Democrat and part of the League of Women's Voters group that counts the ballots. He is an honest person, but short on connecting the dots. At the suggestion that there could be election fraud, he takes great umbrage over the idea that the ballots may be counted wrong. Of course, he fails to consider that counting fraudulent ballots accurately avails nothing.
But by the 90s, you could tell something was sour. A former colleague at Boeing had been elected to on the County Council and my then spouse and I decided to go downtown and pay him a visit at his office in the King County court house. We parked downtown a few blocks away and walked there. As we did, we noticed, down an alley on the back of the building, drug deals going down. Don't you think it is odd that drug deals would be happening literally in the shadow of county law enforcement? We did. It has never gotten better from that point.
