I thought it might be more like cornered animals burning evidence, but what do I know?
So much of the Grand Canyon is off-limits by the govt. No doubt in my mind they're destroying "things".
The story began with a 1909 Arizona Gazette article describing a hidden cave filled with Egyptian artifacts, hieroglyphs, and mummies, discovered by G.E. Kincaid and a Smithsonian team.
I have read this, but I thought it was near the south rim...
Wut now? I need to know more! Is there anything the Smithsonian DIDN'T cover up?
Edit: my theory is that all the small newspaper offices that burn down, losing all their microfiche history, happen for reasons.
