I'm assuming it's also the same UN that harangues us we're in "global boiling", and who's concern for our human rights extends to their own published goals for us by 2030 including zero car ownership, zero meat consumption, and only 3 new items of clothes per year etc.
It means we have no confidence in anything they say about this subject. I recall when it was the rage to declare hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin to be ineffective and unsafe, complete with bogus research studies. That was not the UN, but it is an illustration of the propaganda method. No one here recalls the sexual abuse of Congolese by UN "Peacekeeping" troops in the Democratic Republic of the Congo during its civil war in the 1960s.
