Christ is the only way to the Father. I don’t know what she’s dreaming about but if she hasn’t chosen to pursue Christ and His Cross she will not be welcomed before the Father after death. I compel you to tell her to start reading Matthew and just go until the Bible ends.
No one knows this for sure. I used to believe the same thing, after talking to people that have died and come back, as well as watching 1000’s of videos of people that have had NDE’s I’m beginning to think that religion, just like every other thing man has touched, has been changed and corrupted. Pretty much everyone that has had a NDE all experience some of the same stuff, most notably absolute love and acceptance. It never really made sense to me that a God that loves us more than we could possibly love our own children would send his children to hell for simply not worshipping him. That sounds like a jealous God, not a loving one. In fact just reading your response that basically says she will be tortured for eternity makes God sound extremely cruel. Who would really even want to worship a God like that? It’s almost as if most people worship him only because they don’t want to go to hell, not because they love him. Ironic to say the least. I believe in God with everything inside of me, I no longer believe in the church. I talk to and have a relationship with God because I believe he is pure love and consciousness and the creator of everything, not because he’s some evil dictator in the sky waiting to make my life hell every time I mess up, or because I’m afraid to die and go to hell. He is around all of us and he is within all of us.
Well put! I never understood that either, why talk to Jesus if I can pray directly to God? It seems so ass backwards it’s crazy. Once I really started paying attention to the Bible it started making less sense. A truly all knowing loving God would condemn me because I’m not on my knees worshiping him? That sounds very… human like, not something a loving God would require.
I grew up in a Christian and Masonic family. Had a fantastic childhood, but had lots of questions, like you.
Easter 2022 I had an epiphany about communion; drinking blood and eating flesh is not something I ever wanted to do. Then it "clicked" on my drive home after SUNrise service. Communion is too close for comfort of what the CABAL literally does! Christians will say it's symbolism of Christ's sacrifice; trying to justify it as just symbolism. Think how happy that makes the Devil. And they do it in "worship". Didn't god say to have No Idols?
I'm reminded of a Q quote.
Symbolism will be their downfall.
No we can’t, but some people get tired of hearing we will not make it to heaven because we didn’t do this or that. Luckily my eyes have been opened after living most of my life in fear that I would piss off God and if I didnt ask for forgiveness right before I died I’d be tormented, living like that got exhausting. You don’t know anything special to make the claim you made yet you did it so matter factly. Almost all religions point to the same thing, you can feel free to believe whatever you want but there’s a reason that so many religions have flood stories (and very similar other stories) in them and many were written down thousands of years before any books were written that we now call the Bible.
I stated no condemnation, merely the fact that there is only one way to the Father and that is through Christ.
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”
I John 5:11-13 NKJV
interesting. For truthers this is a hard thing. For people that can-not stop digging for information it is a hard thing. We are all individuals under God. Individually we are going to be Judged. The more one knows the more one has to either harden their heart or accept. We are individually able to volunteer or not. I view it as levels. Like in networking if you are a CCIE you will be paid more and also have more responsibility than one who is a CCNA or CCNP.
Deuteronomy 4:24 and James 4:16-17
24 For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
Yeah no, I totally believe in God, I’ve seen miracles in my own life, I don’t believe the dogma around it any more though, I don’t believe if one worships the wrong god or is part of the wrong dominion that they are going to hell. Also, we all sin apparently so not doing good is as much of a sin as getting tattoos, or are sins weighed differently?
we are -individuals- it is all up to us as an individual. For instance I am a human. I am not diabetic, but if I eat too much sugar I physically feel ill. So sugar to me is a sin. To another sugar is not a sin... In the Spiritual sense if one is of Jesus, a Christian, which essentially means Christ-Like.. those people would tend to start becoming more like Christ. This is a very personal Journey for each person and it is a personal choice to volunteer.
Nothing I can do to force another to think like me and vice-versa.
The question(s) to you might be something like,
why would a person who is LGBTQ want to go to Heaven? Everything they stand for is to smite people who do not do as they do.
How would there be peace in Heaven if those who are in Heaven have different opinions about what a woman is? That would not be Heaven.
Jesus is a Divider, not a Uniter when it comes to good vs evil. No one can do what Jesus did in the flesh. Yes we are all human and we all define good and evil, light and darkness--differently, but Jesus defines things His way, not our way.
The foundational concepts of the USA Constitution are very much the same. Man is destroying the USA Constitution.
The -MEEK- inherit the Earth for a reason. It is a Law of God. Not a balance. It is a division. The Meek are not weak. They are very compassionate and very, very patient. Once the patience finally runs out. The wrath is quick and decisive to get back to peace.
Also I’m not telling anyone not to believe in God, the world seems to be a better place when people do because they have fear of judgement, all I was saying is the whole “your going to hell if you don’t know Jesus” stuff gets old. We can know and love him differently than you do and that should be fine.
that is called an opinion and that is what you believe. Fear of judgement... why fear something that is out ones control? Nothing I can do to stop the inevitable. Fear can mean respect. It has other definitions. I fear the Lord AKA I respect the Lord. We as humans are very selfish and self-righteous. Nothing I can do for that either.
it is an individual who makes their own individual minds. Like in Bowling for instance. Johnie over there bowls and always gets the ball in the gutter--that should be fine. Johnie will still be a pro bowler.
in Johnie's mind he can be a pro bowler for sure, but in reality he is not at the Level. If Johnie starts telling others how good his is at bowling, is that a lie?
Levels--what level do you want to get to? that is the question. I pray to be weak, because the depth of this stuff is very, very terrifying. :)

Well said Fren. I'm with you.
Question: Did we need an intermediator to talk to our earthly father? No. I also don't believe our heavenly Father requires one either.

We can’t make choices for others, I pray your eyes are opened to the fact that each one of us has to individually choose Christ.
