No we can’t, but some people get tired of hearing we will not make it to heaven because we didn’t do this or that. Luckily my eyes have been opened after living most of my life in fear that I would piss off God and if I didnt ask for forgiveness right before I died I’d be tormented, living like that got exhausting. You don’t know anything special to make the claim you made yet you did it so matter factly. Almost all religions point to the same thing, you can feel free to believe whatever you want but there’s a reason that so many religions have flood stories (and very similar other stories) in them and many were written down thousands of years before any books were written that we now call the Bible.
I stated no condemnation, merely the fact that there is only one way to the Father and that is through Christ.
“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”
I John 5:11-13 NKJV
I’ve read the Bible, it doesn’t take away the fact it was likely changed at some point. My belief that God is a loving God more than he is a jealous hateful God will probably suit me fine. There’s so many contradictions and parables in the Bible that it’s hard to imagine Man didn’t write some of it or add to it for their own agenda. Also, you don’t know if that actually is a fact or not, you’re stating that everything the Bible says and or the way the church interpreted what it says is a fact. The part where you told her if her daughter doesn’t know Christ, she’s doomed, like you are some noble know it all, that’s where the issue lies, and that’s what people are sick of hearing. Also, why would Christ be the only way to the father? I’m pretty sure he can hear us calling out his name too. And what about the people in 3rd world nations or remote tribes that have never heard of Christianity? It seems odd and cruel that they should suffer. There’s many things that just don’t add up coming from a truly loving God which I believe he is.
The church is all about control and believers use "faith" as a weapon against their neighbors. I finally told my Bro I didn't want to talk to him anymore if he keeps shoving down my throat, "Do YOU know where you're going?" He uses the bible to justify his language towards me. Many believers do this.
I find it hard to believe you read the entire Bible and still talk like this. Have you read the entire Bible? Have you been to study groups that explain it?
Likely? I laughed when I read that. If you read the history of the Bible you'll know that it was cobbled together from several different manuscripts - some detailing the horrors of the "Elohim" rulers of the time. Those manuscripts were translated and translated again (mistranslated in many cases). Also word meanings changed over centuries. And the whole lot was rewritten, edited and redacted by various committees with political agendas. And, finally, many people need a priest or other "expert" to interpret it.
That said, The Bible has a lot of useful stuff and if you choose to live your life according to the sensible parts ("love thy neighbor," etc.) then you'll do fine. But if you believe that God and/or Jesus personally wrote The Bible, then I can only sympathize.
I mean seriously, pretty much most of history seems to be a lie, we were lied to about almost everything yet they left the many books of the Bible that were written many years apart alone? Doubtful…
We can’t make choices for others, I pray your eyes are opened to the fact that each one of us has to individually choose Christ.

Can you clarify please?

You’re correct, without Christ one is doomed.
