problem with general motors is their deal with that chinese company they partnered with. if they move manufacturing back to the states, they lose the entire asian market and india as well to that partner. a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation...
I only purchase vehicles made in Japan. I have no issues paying more. Fuck the big 3, they clearly don't care about Americans. Especially with the garbage vehicles they make.

Fair enough, maybe cut those Canadian or Mexican tariffs to 15% too on cars that use at least 50% US parts.
Screw that. How about we assemble them here, too, and use 100% American parts except where not reasonably available.
