technically its not just "war"... its actually this: "only in levying War against [the United States], or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."
Treason has been a term used to describe the magnitude of the crimes against Trump and country, but from the angle of "political enemies" as opposed to actual treason. So your point is well heard and I see it lightly mentioned in places like GAW - but it is being spoken of louder and louder by the devout lefties right about now. Are the crimes committed by Obama covered under presidential immunity even though they aren't treason? I would say they aren't. It is not just treason but acts not pertaining to a presidents administration. So if any president were to walk out of the oval office and stab and murder the first aide he came to in the hall you better believe he would be prosecuted - This I think is a great analogy for what Obama did and offers myself better perspective than comparing to actual treason. Just my thoughts on it. I am not holding my breath that Obama will be prosecuted, but its nice hearing Bannon, Hillary, and Comey are expected to be indited soon. (really thought I'd be retiring this by now, but nope - still fits) NCSWIC!!!

excellent comment!!
There is no immunity for a crime.
The duties of a law enforcement officer do not include engaging in criminal activity while on the job.
Same would be true for any government employee.
Remember: The president is our employee. He is not a higher rank than us -- just a higher rank than the other employees in the Executive Branch.
