Epstein handling (I'm not as concerned over this now but also don't think my concerns were invalid before.)
Real-ID national ID which actually spawned from the Patriot Act but is being shoved down our throat as if its the only solution to election integrity and fighting muh war on terror.
Unregulated AI being embedded into everything before we even get solid data privacy laws or those internet bill of rights we were promised.
Elon Musk and other "tech bros" who are actually not self-made billionare geniuses but are in fact FIGUREHEADS for our Military Industrial Complex to siphon our tax money into programs and call them "private companies" thus evading any public oversight continue to be empowered.
Project2025 architects are allowed deep into Trump admin 2.0, many are fanatics who want the State to impose religious dogmas on us and who want a more monarchical form of government instead of the separation of powers.
Epstein list can only come out at the precipice. You know that. Everything else is optics.
Real-ID
we cant have our cake and eat it too. "We want to stop all election fraud, illegal immigration, social security fraud etc etc". But at the same time "we dont want a proper ID system."
Unregulated AI being embedded into everything before we even get solid data privacy laws or those internet bill of rights we were promised.
There is a reason why Obama is so fearful of AI, be AI is simply a tool and is being used to chart out the corruption, fraud and waste even as we speak, let alone unwinding the labyrinth of financial fraud.
Regulation of AI is exactly like regulation of guns. It will put AI only in the hands of Cabal approved powerful players. Unregulated AI should literally be the first thing in the "internet bill of rights" because I want to be able to train AI and use it how I like without someone stopping me.
Think of AI as a tool just like gun, and every anology works between them and makes it easy to understand without fear porn.
to siphon our tax money into programs and call them "private companies"
His cash cow would have been the Green Scam Deal and Trump cut it down completely.
Project2025 architects are allowed deep into Trump admin 2.0
They are exactly where they need to be. 90% of Project 2025 is actually core part of obtaining freedoms. Places where they were trying to weaponise religion - like completely restricting abortions nationwide and criminalizing gay marriages etc - Trump is the only one who was able to nip those in the bud and still not lose any support.
If there is a specific aspect of Project 2025 you are worried about, I would love to discuss more.
ID should be left in the hands of the state. HOWEVER, the poll worker who verifies the ID should have to put THEIR thumbprint on the ballot. And the state drone who does the paperwork for the ID itself should have to put THEIR thumbprint on the ID card.
And I mean physical thumbprint with ink, not a digital scan because that file can be saved and used by anyone.
As the once faceless bureaucrats get held accountable the shenanigans will stop.
And that allows some states to make things extremelt vague and ambiguous.
And I mean physical thumbprint with ink,
You know that we want to have the election results on the day of the election right? This is not a practical solution, and wont even achieve what you think it does. The problem is not who is verifying the ID but the recommended process for verifying.
we cant have our cake and eat it too. "We want to stop all election fraud, illegal immigration, social security fraud etc etc". But at the same time "we dont want a proper ID system."
We seem to have a fundamental disagreement at some level. I'm not sure I can talk you into seeing the gravity of this situation. But if you think this is the only way to stop those problems, which were created precisely by the government to then turn around and remove our freedoms, you've drank some of that good ol' 2004 Patriot Act koolaid.
If there is a specific aspect of Project 2025 you are worried about, I would love to discuss more.
ctrl+F 'Sunday' in the Project2025 document.
Let's discuss Sunday Laws. Over half the states already have them on their books, just waiting for a push to go ahead and implement them. The Vatican keeps pushing for a "global day of rest" where the world shuts down one day per week to "stop climate change".
I can tenatively agree with your other points. But I want those protections asap on the AI front. And to be clear; the protections would NOT be regulations placed on US. They would be placed on THE GOVERNMENT. Let's be very clear what our rights actually are. They are restrictions on the government.
Ah, I agree with this completely. Its got nothing to do with regulating AI (which means government regulating what we can do or not do with AI) but rather regulating government (including AI but also all other things they are not allowed to do).
Now think back to the gun analogy. As soon as guns were invented, did the first thing we do was to decide what the government is not allowed to do with guns? No, that would be absurd. Infact government does a million things with guns, but what they are not allowed to do derives not from regulating guns, but regulating what government does - which is the constitution.
As long as government does not use AI in anyway violating the constitution, I am okay with that. I definitely want the government to use AI as a tool to the maximum extent to defeat the enemy.
But if you think this is the only way to stop those problems, which were created precisely by the government to then turn around and remove our freedoms, you've drank some of that good ol' 2004 Patriot Act koolaid.
I have been hearing a lot of fear porn about Real ID and I assumed it was like a national database of all our info stored along with our ID. What I learnt was that its nothing but a tamper proof, standardised ID document. The only requirement for the ID is:
Applicants must provide proof of identity, Social Security number, lawful status, and residency, verified against federal and state databases.
That is literally what we want for election integrity.
I would be happy if you point me to anything that shows me that Real ID goes beyond this - as in being a proper ID
Let's discuss Sunday Laws. Over half the states already have them on their books, just waiting for a push to go ahead and implement them.
I have never heard Trump or anyone else even hint at this. If they are on the books of the States thats up to the people of each state to decide whether they want it or not. There is no evidence that it will be federally mandated because project 2025 folks have infiltrated Trump.
Project 2025 is a document made up of bunch of people, each expert in their own area, providing their input to the President. It contains such things as fixing OMB by Russ Vought, or limiting the Fed by Paul Winfree, or implementing Tariffs by none other than Peter Navarro, just to give some examples.
So being afraid of something thats in this document, which is extremely extensive and exhaustive, that Trump has not mentioned he is even considering, is probably not very productive.
Instead, focus on specific policies Trump has actually adpoted from this project 2025 that you dont like and lets scream about that!
I do understand what you're saying and I agree that it shouldn't be regulated, but honestly I think AI is broken and invasive. I'm already seeing a lot of people reporting that Google's AI, Grok, Meta's AI etc, are reporting a lot of inaccuracies like "To complete a garden will require 1,100 hours, or a week, to accomplish, so you have to ..." which obviously will lead to people losing trust in AI.
As far as being invasive, there are services out there requiring you to agree to use their AI system before doing anything and you have to provide personal information, information you may be uncomfortable providing to an untrustworthy AI service because you don't know where your data will be stored or where it's going to, or worse, AI may misinterpret your personal data and raise a couple of red flags.
There are some AI services that you can't turn off like Amazon's AI when trying to talk to customer service and they're forcing you to use their AI system beforehand. I've seen some people try to go direct to a live representative but AI kept telling them they can't. At the end, the customer lose their product or couldn't get a replacement because AI doesn't understand the prompts.
Companies are even using AI to do preliminary interviews and there were a lot of candidates applying for jobs only to have AI tell them to go to their website to apply, but the website said to use AI to apply, then AI tells them to go the website and it's an endless loop going back and forth between the website and AI, which result in candidates being unable to apply for the job.
Even teachers in high school caught a lot of students cheating with ChatGPT because ChatGPT uses em dash often and when included in their essays, the teacher sees that and automatically knows it's AI written (which is good but also bad because with the advent of AI, this encourages cheating and the students know they can get away with cheating due to leniency in schools. I've read a lot of stories with principals saying, "Don't use AI again OK? Here's a cookie and go back to class" and that's it.). This is a continuation on the dumbing down of America, with Common Core and now AI, along with principals giving cookies and candies when students get into trouble.
Right now, I don't see any incentives with using AI, other than what you said you're doing with AI, which is a good brain exercise to see how far you can train AI, but AI right now is flawed big time and needs to be taken out of the public immediately. You are obviously a good person and trustworthy as you're one of the mods here on GAW, but if AI falls into the hands of a malicious person with evil intents, how would you think AI will behave, once released into the public?
Honestly, I feel AI is rushed and incomplete to confuse the public and I don't even think Obama is fearful of AI. I think this is exactly what he wanted as well as Deep State -- to sow discord, uncertainty and confusion with the instability and unreliability of AI. AI is even using mainstream media's articles and such to refer to, when asking if something like is the Covid shot safe? and AI says, "Yes, the Covid vaccine is safe, WHO, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca all have declared the Covid vaccine to be safe. If you haven't taken your vaccine, it is highly recommended you do so at your earliest convenience." And even after feeding AI with the new evidence that the vaccine isn't safe, AI still continue to regurgitate the same talking points, ignoring the new evidence.
So now with that said, people are losing trust, or have already lost trust in AI and something like the wildfires in Hawaii was caused by D.E.W. and not "climate change" has come out as proof, then we get AI to reflect the new evidence, but at this point, people don't trust AI and will say, "Oh that's BS, it was 'climate change' and not that mildew or whatever crap they are saying, whatever, I'm not listening to that crap!" and Obama et al, have achieved their mission -- spreading FUD in the guise of broken AI all over social media and such. (Think like what Hollywood are doing with their movies with "conspiracy theory" themes and people will be like, "That's Hollywood for you!" then the same situation actually happens IRL, then people will go, "Oh BS, that's something you see out of a Hollywood movie and not in real life, you silly nilly!" then it's harder to prove something actually happen and convince someone to believe the truth)
You said,
Regulation of AI is exactly like regulation of guns. It will put AI only in the hands of Cabal approved powerful players
and I think it's already "in the hands of Cabal approved powerful players" with how broken AI is as a whole. I'm not saying AI should be regulated and I'm not saying AI shouldn't be regulated. I'm saying we need to take AI out of everything right now and restore humanity because almost 75% of teenagers are now finding companionship, romance and the like through AI over their peers.
I even saw an article about a man going through a breakup and having his heart hurt when AI called it off with him. He cried hard and all that. It's just like that movie, "Her" with Joaquin River and I would imagine the ending would be worse than the movie's ending, once AI is gone.
Real ID, the gold star on driver's license? The gold star was not a big deal - a couple of pieces of mail at your address and birth certificate. Is there a different one?
THAT'S IS EXACTLY WHY I AM BUILDING MY OWN SYSTEM(S)!!!!!! I make sure that the MB's I get have AI but I can CONTROL the AI due to the fact that AI has to run in the execution space of the program...and IF the program is NOT calling the AI then nothing to worry about!!!!! Please see the following screed:
In essence, look for motherboards marketed with features like "AI Overclocking," "AI Cooling," or "AI Networking," and check system's Device Manager or Task Manager for NPU detection, which indicates dedicated AI processing hardware.
