Good on them for taking that down but let me get this straight: that FOSTA bill modified section 230 to now hold social media platforms liable for the criminal content their users post?
As in...alllll that censorship and misinfo fighting they did, because we "posed a risk" to public safety on their platforms, they did that prior to this, while at the same time allowing cp and God-knows what else to thrive...they censored us, who said things they didn't like, while allowing actual illegal content.
So instead of simply removing that illegal content they now had to go and lose their 230 immunity, which was something that actually enabled the most free speech atmosphere...so once again we lose freedom because of them and their backwards bs. Quite a convenient boomerang.
Now if you want to make a social media site you're liable for what your users post, which will of course create a demand for tighter control over your users and also reeeeally makes you just want to go ahead and require them to ID themselves in order to use the platform right? I mean it's only logical if they're gonna take the fall for what you might post, they will want to know who you are.
They find other ways.

am I understanding this right?
I think so. So that means whoever owns this .win site is now on the hook for what anyone who posts here (Anons or trolls or whoever) does?
Is that correct?
sure sounds like it
Interesting to see how well that will play out.
You have to ask someone a lot smarter than a brain-dead. LOL
great win but still have not dented the real problem........

Great news! Thanks fren
You are welcome.
This purging of child abusers and victims is happening. Want to see a law enforcement officer cry at what they see?
Not just that, some officers commit suicide for seeing it. I know.
How many arrested?
None
