But are the synagogue of Satan - Deserve rather to be called the synagogue of Satan. The synagogue was a Jewish place of worship (compare the notes on Matthew 4:23), but the word originally denoted "the assembly" or "the congregation." The word that has been translated to "Jew" in the English versions of the Bible were originally "Judahite" in the Old Testament and "Judean" in the New Testament.
In both cases, they did not refer to what we know today as a "Jew."
Judahites were the descendants of Judah, a son of Jacob/Israel. Thus, all Judahites were also Israelites, and NO JEW is an Israelite.
The Jews were and are the Adversary of the Israelites ("Adversary" in Hebrew was called "Satan").
In the New Testament, anyone living in the Roman province of Judea around the time of Christ was called a "Judean," similar to someone living in Texas is called a "Texan," regardless of race or ethnicity.
Judea was controlled by the Romans, but they allowed the local Edomites to be the local governors running the political operations of the province. So, it was largely Edomites living there, but there were also some others, including true Israelites.
In either case, the word "Jew" in the Bible is ALWAYS a mistranslation, and you have to dig deeper to figure out who is being talked about when that word is used.
